One of my favourite places to dive in New South Wales is up at Coffs Harbour on the north coast. Jetty Dive takes a boat of divers out to the Solitary Islands, a protected marine area full of life – first year diving there I got to see lots of grey nurse sharks, a hammer head, turtles, clown fish, lion fish and lots of tropical fish. As the tropical waters from the Great Barrier Reef travels down to the Coffs Coast, you’ll hardly need more than 5 mm in the summer time. Bottoms up!
